Prime Minister Narendra Modi visited the All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) on Sunday to inquire about the health of Vice President Jagdeep Dhankharcbf365, expressing concern for his well-being.

In a post on X, PM Modi shared, "Went to AIIMS and enquired about the health of Vice President Shri Jagdeep Dhankhar Ji. I pray for his good health and speedy recovery."

Dhankhar, the 73-year-old Rajya Sabha Chairman, was admitted to AIIMS' cardiac department early on Sunday after experiencing chest pain and discomfort. His condition is now stable.

According to PTI, Dhankhar is being treated in the Critical Care Unit (CCU) under the supervision of Dr. Rajiv Narang, Head of the Cardiology Department at AIIMS.

During his visit, he planted a sapling in memory of his late mother, Kesari Devi, as part of the 'Ek Ped Maa Ke Naam' initiative.
